An additional two individuals have been arrested related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which 21 people sustained injuries by a substance believed to be pepper spray, according to police.
A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.
The arrests come after an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, two women were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.
A toddler aged three was one of the those hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and were later released.
Police detained a 31-year-old man for suspected theft and assault close to the location. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.
Police were alerted at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people injured by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.
The attack - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - resulted in delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
