More than two weeks following the shocking loss of esteemed filmmaker Rob Reiner and his wife, photographer Michele Reiner, peers and loved ones are still paying respects to the couple.

"Sufficient time has passed that I can finally express my sorrow into words," wrote Elwes, adding that his introductory moment with Reiner left him smitten. "Once we started spending more time together I realized this was someone I longed to have in my life."
The actor posted archival material from the film, commenting that he doesn't recollect "any day without mirth".
"This story is about affection, allegiance and giving. Principles that Rob cherished deeply. Which is among the many reasons he was the perfect person to guide it," Elwes expressed.
He additionally honored Michele Reiner, stating: "To say that they were a formidable pair would be an understatement. My heart still hurts every time I think of you." He concluded with a quote from *The Princess Bride*: "Indeed, death cannot stop true love but existence is agony without you."
Martin Scorsese Reflects on a Friend and Collaborator
In a different piece, legendary director Martin Scorsese paid homage to Reiner, whom he initially encountered in the 1970s.
"Right away, I loved spending time with Rob. We had a natural affinity for each other. He was very funny and sometimes sharply witty, but he was never the kind of guy who would dominate the room," Scorsese wrote.
Scorsese pointed out Reiner's acting part in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, portraying the father of the lead role.
"He could improvise with the best. He was a master at comedy, he worked beautifully with his co-stars, and he understood the human predicament of his character," Scorsese noted.
Judicial Actions: Autopsy Reports Sealed
In a new development, a Los Angeles court official ruled to prevent the publication of the Reiners' medical examiner's reports, at the request from the local authorities.
A judicial mandate put a restriction on the cases to limit the public release of "any investigative information, notes, reports or photos" connected to the probe.
The relevant authority had previously confirmed their deaths were the consequence of foul play, with a public database listing the cause as "injuries from a sharp object".
